Orthodontic Info
When should I start treatment?
The majority of patients access Orthodontic Treatment when all baby teeth have been lost and during the adolescent growth spurt at approximately age 12-15 years of age, however this depends on the type of bite.
Late teens and adults are also able to have orthodontic treatment provided their general dental health is good.
Early treatment can be considered at approximately 8-9 years however this is often followed by a 2nd course of treatment, so is generally more advantageous for specific developmental problems
